This listing is for a repair/evaluation of your Canon EF 28-70mm 2.8 or similar lens. I have been servicing Canon lenses for 30+ years (see Qualification) and have the special equipment to bring these wonderful lenses back to factory specifications with very few exceptions.
This lens is known for having a cloudy element group in the rear part of the lens and I am able to pull the elements apart and re-glue to give a crystal clear element group.
I can do most repairs on a wide variety of EF lenses, especially the lenses Canon say are beyond their “usual” service life.
A note to customers: I have limited time and parts, so some units may be delayed or I may decline simply because of work overload or parts unavailability.

The evaluation charge requires you to ship the item to receive an accurate estimate.  A shipping label WILL NOT be provided- ship at your own cost to the address I email you.
Once your item has been received, I will provide you with an estimate within 3 business days
Approved estimates will be paid through Paypal prior to beginning of work
Declined estimates will be shipped back via economy shipping at no charge
Note: I can only offer a range of typical repairs prices until I receive the item and test it. Prices vary depending on the condition of the camera and parts needed. Once I have received your item and physically/personally evaluated it, I can provide you with a more accurate estimate.
Also, I will need to mark this purchase as shipped because of eBay policies, but cannot ship anything until I receive your equipment.
Qualifications: I have been a repair technician for 35+ years and spent the last 20 years specializing
in camera and lens repair. I have done countless repairs from many manufacturers and have been
an authorized technician for Nikon, Canon, and Sigma. I am particularly skilled at
servicing older lenses that no longer have new parts available.
Warranty: I will repair or refund any item for up to 6 months
from date of purchase if the unit fails during normal use and
is in the same condition as originally repaired. The warranty will be voided
by impact, water or sand damage, as determined by technician.
In such case the customer will be responsible for return shipping.
No exceptions.
