NIKON LENS EVALUATION SERVICE
This sale is for a repair/evaluation of your Nikon Ai, Ai-s, AF, AF-s lenses. I have been servicing these lenses for 30+ years (see Qualifications) and have all the equipment to bring this wonderful lenses back to factory specification.
I can work on any level of repair from a missing screw to replacing a main barrel. Some lenses may be beyond repair or parts no longer available. If this happens I will discuss with you any options available.
A note to customers: I have limited time and parts, so some units may be delayed or I may decline simply because of work overload or parts unavailability.
Please be aware the Professional 300mm and above lenses will have extra handling charges on top of the $20 evaluation fee to cover shipping.
Qualifications: I have been a repair technician for 35+ years and spent the last 20 years specializing iin camera and lens repair. I have done countless repairs from many manufacturers and have been an authorized technician for Nikon, Canon, and Sigma. I am particularly skilled at servicing older lenses that no longer have new parts available.
Process:
Pay for $20 evaluation through buy it now
The evaluation charge requires you to ship the camera to receive an accurate estimate.
A shipping label WILL NOT be provided- ship at your own cost to the address I email you.
Once your item has been received, I will provide you with an estimate within 3 business days
Approved estimates will be paid through Paypal prior to beginning of work
Declined estimates will be shipped back via economy shipping at no charge
Note: I can only offer a range of typical repairs prices until I receive the item and test it. Prices vary depending on the condition of the camera and parts needed. Once I have received your item and physically/personally evaluated it, I can provide you with a more accurate estimate.
Also, I will need to mark this purchase as shipped because of eBay policies, but cannot ship anything until I receive your camera.
Warranty: I will repair or refund any item for up to 6 months from date of purchase if the unit fails during normal use and is in the same condition as originally repaired. The warranty will be voided by impact, water or sand damage, as determined by technicians. In such cases the customer will be responsible for return  shipping.
